The article discussed the problems arising in medical and health care professionals in rural areas of the Western Taiwan Straits, and then analyzed the causes from perspective of medical colleges. So the authors advanced some countermeasures to provide quality services for its improvement: positively updating concept in accordance with the development of Western Taiwan Straits, scientifically counseling students for their well-grounded career planing, highlighting practices, innovating employment educational models and enriching its content.
