Objective: To approach effective measures of guarantee patient safety in nursing procedure. Methods: The nursing procedures of dangerous projects were surveyed and reconstructed. Results: Though three years practice, some experiments and achievements were obtained. Nurses performed standard operation according to the procedure and formed good working habit, the manager arranged and supervised work under the guidance of the procedure avoiding random performance, which ensured patient safety in nursing. Conclusion: Meticulous and practicable nursing procedure is an effective way to guarantee patient safety.
