In order to meet the demands of Chinese researchers of counseling and psychotherapy,answer for the needs of corresponding discipline construction,promote the process of theoretical study,as well as timely reflect the international trend on the development,exploring the schools of counseling and psychotherapy has become urgent. Researchers should keep a foothold on the schools of western psychology,as well as consider the theories and methods of counseling and psychotherapy as backbone,then considerate the internal logic of counseling and psychotherapy,construct a school conforming with China’s situation as well as servicing for counseling and psychotherapy,and inspire Chinese scholars’ awareness of innovation and initiation.
