Science and technology innovation is the driving force of development of medicine. As a symbol of scientific research ability of medical and health institutions, patent has been the important work and significant part of the assets of the health system. It is an important duty to strengthen the management and protection of patent. In order to promote the patent work in health system of Jiangsu Province, the author investigated the patent work status, advanced the existing problems, and provided the corresponding countermeasures.
