The article investigated the mental health status of graduate students by using SCL-90 scale,discussed the psychological characteristics by using the self-designed questionnaire of graduate students mental health. The five year longitudinal research found that graduate students mental health abnormality rate of any factor above 2.5 points was 4.9﹪~2.5﹪,any factor above 3 points was 1.0﹪~3.5﹪.The mental health status of whole female graduate students was better than the whole male graduate students. The aggregation of ten factors was very common between two groups of male and female graduate students. The needs of subjective mental health of male and female graduate students had a little difference. In addition,the author put forward five specific educational suggestions.
