Based on the palliative care and the social support theory, the social support group work is carried out through the recruitment of cancer patients. Compared with the traditional treatment method and the concept, the support groups of medical social work can provide psychological and social support for the team, and meet their spiritual needs. Finally, the team assessment methods and tools as well as the cancer support group motivation are reflected on.
