Abstract:By using CES-D, the thesis measuredsymptoms of Shidu group, which is consisted of people who suffer from the loss of their only child. As shown in the measurement results, the loss of the only child had a significant impact on the depression situation of these people. Thus, it is important to transfer their emotional attachment fromthe parentrole. Religious shidu populations suffer lower depression than non-religious peoplein many aspects. This paper suggests constructing homogeneous psychological assistance mode to shidu families so as to ensure the shidu group’s mental health and encourage their positive social integration. We need to conduct a systematic, dynamic and in-depth study so as to provide successful early identification and intervention treatment of these depression symptoms. Besides, we need to convert the social supporting resources into supporting system. We should build multi-variate social supporting networks in the mental intervene of shidu group.
