Based on the theoretical framework of critical discourse analysis, the paper carries out a comparative study of doctor-patient conversations and nurse-patient conversations, in the purpose of uncovering the concealed ideology and power relationship in these two kinds of conversations, thus provides a new vision for the critical discourse analysis of both doctor-patient conversations and nurse-patient conversations.
