Abstract:Objective: To understand the current situation and main problems of information literacy of students in Nanjing Medical University, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions on improving the quality of the medical students’ information literacy. Methods: Through the stratified random sampling method, information literacy status quo of the students in grade 1 to grade 4 were surveyed by questionnaire investigation. The data were obtained using SPSS 20.0 descriptive statistical analysis, chi-square test and rank sum test. Results: Information consciousness, information ability and information ethic problems of medical students were summarized. Conclusion: We should strengthen medical students’ information literacy in creating campus information environment, implementing multi-channel effective measures, intensifying regulation of the use of information resources and other aspects.
