Abstract:Objective:To understand turnover intention of clinicians in public medical institutions from city, county, and rural areas of Anhui Province, provide a realistic basis for physician team stability and to promote the early realization of the pattern classification diagnosis and treatment. Methods: A random sampling method was used to investigate the turnover intention, Epidata 3.1 and SPSS 16.0 were used to analyze the data, and Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of turnover intention. Results: City, county and township doctors’ turnover intention accounted for 52.9%, 31.6% and 26.3%, respectively. The primary reason was the poor wages. Multivariate analysis showed that the factors for turnover intention including gender, expected income, employee income and occupation prospect planning, performance appraisal, job satisfaction, the other way out, medical cost. The other way out was positively related to turnover intention and the other 6 variables was negatively correlated to it. Conclusion: Reasonable salary should be adopted to attract and stabilize clinicians and improve their career development space.
