Abstract:Objective: To understand the situation of clinical empathy pathway, and to provide advices to practice and improve clinical empathy pathway. Methods: According to stratified random sampling, we selected 825 medical staff and 807 patients from 8 public hospitals in Jiangsu Province. The clinical empathy pathway data were investigated by a self?designed questionnaire and calculated by statistical methods. Results: There were significant differences between medical staff and patients about answering the scenes of clinical empathy pathway including manner, emotion, listening, and smiling. Medical staff were under performing in patience, concentration, language, informing, and explaining. Conclusion: Clinic worker need to be combined with Connotation and implementation methods for realizing and developingpractice,because,clinic worker are not good for every part.
