The health management service with Chinese characteristics is under development. This paper analyzes the current situation and progression of the health management service by the use of the SWOT method for strategic management. This study also discusses the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats, the internal conditions and external environment faced during the development of the health management service. And the rough points of three subsystems, namely, medical and health system, health?specilized management service system, and supporting system in health management service. The combination of with the characteristics of their respective development strategy is put forward to explore system with its own advantages and opportunities, make full use of the opportunities for development and optimization, in order to promote and guide the scientific development of health management services.
