The quality and standard of the English interpretation for the hospital signage somehow represents national image. In China， much space for improvement of English accuracy in hospital signage still remains. This paper provides a brief review of domestic situation in this issue and suggests further research and measure needs to be taken in order to understand the causes for this issue with depth and breadth. More importantly， this review analyzed how high?quality bilingual hospital signage could be generated， which may help improve the quality and accuracy of the English usage in hospital signage in China.
