Abstract:Based on questionnaire surveys conducted among 145 medical staffs from 12 healthcare consortium members of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, this study carried a comparative analysis on the awareness of and satisfaction towards healthcare consortiums between medical staffs from institutions involved in “group” medical assistance to Xinjiang and other healthcare consortium members. The result showed that medical staffs involved in “group” medical assistance to Xinjiang have higher acquaintance and participation in healthcare consortiums than those of other healthcare consortium members(P<0.05). The project of “group” medical assistance to Xinjiang can improve the medical staffs’ satisfaction towards healthcare consortiums(P<0.05). In the future, we can explore high?quality experience from the working modes, such as “hospitals cooperating with departments” and “teachers joining hands with students”, which are suggested to improve the medical staffs’ engagement towards the construction of healthcare consortiums.
