In December 2019, a novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) broke out. From the perspective of health care, combining the epidemiological characteristics of the disease and the theory of PPRR crisis management, this paper summarized and shared the practical experience of the medical security department in fighting against the outbreak of COVID-19. The paper also considered and explored the problems exposed in practice, and put forward suggestions and countermeasures, aiming to further improve the crisis management system of medical security, and provide safe, effective and sustainable health care for patients.
