The outbreak of?coronavirus?disease 2019 （COVID?19） has become a most challenging public health emergency around the world. In China， COVID?19 has been listed as Class B infectious diseases according to the law on prevention and control of infectious diseases， but managed as Class A infectious diseases. As the “bridge” of many clinical departments， nuclear medicine plays an important role in laboratory examination， clinical imaging and radionuclide treatment， as well as a key department for scientific prevention and control. In order to effectively perform epidemic prevention and control and ensure medical quality and safety， the opinions and suggestions on the prevention and control of COVID?19 for department of nuclear medicine in Jiangsu province are formulated according to the characteristics and nature of nuclear medicine and the epidemiology and transmission characteristics of COVID?19.
