In this paper, the corruptions in Nanjing third class hospitals are investigated. Furthermore, the psychological causes of corruption of the administrative staff and the cognition of clean government culture construction are also discussed. The purpose is to provide theoretical foundation to optimize the clean government culture construction in hospital. A random investigation is carried out among 510 administrative staffs from 7 third class hospitals in Nanjing. These respondents were required to complete the self?designed questionnaires. The contents of the questionnaires mainly include three parts: the cognition on the causes of corruption, the psychological causes of corruption and the approaches for optimizing the construction of clean government culture. The descriptive analysis and Chi?Square analysis were used to study the different cognitions in psychological causes of corruption, the weak supervision of discipline inspection department, imperfect system and the influence of society culture.From these questionnaires, we found that: administrative staffs in hospital have relatively unified cognition of corruption, on the other hand,more efforts and clearly proposes optimal countermeasures are required on prevention and control of corruption to construct a clean government culture.
