Boji hospital is the source of modern Chinese medicine. This paper briefly reviewed the research achievements of Boji hospital in China and the other foreign countries in the past one hundred years， summarized the research of methods and orientation， pointed out the gaps that need to be filled further， and provided reference for promoting the theoretical research and discipline construction of Chinese medical history.
