To understand the differences between medical and non?medical college students’ perception of medical?related reports during the COVID?19 epidemic, and to provide reference for the development of the good social atmosphere of respecting medicine and valuing health. The self?designed online questionnaire was used to investigate the students in three undergraduate colleges in Anhui Province. A total of 1 221 valid questionnaires were collected. Medical students and non?medical students accounted for 48.6% and 51.4%, respectively. Medical students had basically the same positive and negative evaluations of medical reports during the epidemic, while non?medical students held more positive evaluation opinions. Overall, college students affirmed the positive image of medical staff during the epidemic. The positive perception of medical reports can promote the willingness of medical students to work. During the epidemic, the medical?related reports of the news media plays a positive role in promoting the value guidance of respecting medicine and valuing health. Government should pay attention to strengthen the supervision of medical?related reports and the guidance of public opinion.
