      标准化考试从一个侧面反映了美国教育的现状。保持世界一流教育的观念已深深扎根于美国人的潜意识之中。因此不断改进教育质量,提高教育水平,成为美国历届政府孜孜以求的目标,而标准化考试则被认为是达到这一目标的手段。在美国这个多元文化并存、强调个性自由发展的国度里,各界人士对标准化考试众说纷纭。同样,中国教育界对标准化考试也是各执一说。在这种情况下,标准化考试在美国的得失对中国完善考试制度提供了借鉴。
英文摘要:
      Standardized test reflects the status quo of the American education to some extent. The idea of keeping their first place in the education has been deeply rooted in American sub-consciousness. Therefore, American government takes pains to improve the educational quality and enhance the educational level incessantly, thus the standardized test is regarded as a key way to realize their goal. However, the United States is always characterized by multiculturalism and individualism, which makes people from all walks of life express their different attitudes. As such, Chinese educationalists also hold different opinions towards it. Under such circumstances, success and failure of standardized test in the US provide some illumination for the improvement of Chinese test system.
