Abstract:Fibrotic diseases have brought great clinical challenges due to their extensiveness and complexity. It is imperative to explore the mechanism of fibrosis and seek more effective treatments.Adipose derived stem cells (ADSCs) are ideal stem cells for regenerative medicine and can be used as an alternative treatment for many diseases.Recent studies have shown that ADSCs have significant anti-fibrosis potential. This article reviews the potential intervention targets involved in the anti-fibrosis process of ADSCs, such as epithelial-mesenchymal transition, fibroblast activation, anti-inflammatory and immune regulation, in order to provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of fibrosis.
