Delirious mania (DM) is under-recognized and potential life-threating severe neuropsychiatric syndrome, characterized by the rapid onset of mania, delirium, and psychosis, often complicated by catatonia. To provide guideline and management for early diagnosis and treatment, a case about diagnostic conversions from recurrent major depressive disorder into delirious mania is reported.
