Abstract:Objective:To investigate the factors of the oral health services utilization in Nanjing and in order to develope a reasonable and effective oral health care delivery system. Methods:A cross sectional survey was conducted among 1 200 subjects from 6 urban districts in Nanjing selected by stratified,clustering,random sampling. Probability model for dental visits was established by logistic regression. Results:The results of single-factor analysis revealed that marital state,education background,job,income and awareness of oral health were significantly associated with the utilization of oral health services. The results of multi-factor analysis showed that education background,job,income and awareness of oral health had a significant association with accepting rate of oral health services in residents. Conclusion:Education background,job,income and awareness of oral health may influence the oral health services utilization.
