Objective:To study the arthroscopic technique of modified suture fixation through single bone tunnel for tibial eminence avulsion fracture and its clinical results. Methods:From May 2007 to October 2008,15 cases of tibial eminence avulsion fracture were treated arthroscopically with modified suture fixation technique through single bone tunnel. Active rehabilitation began after operation. Results:The patients were followed up 8~24 months. X-ray showed that all fractures healed without displacement in an average of five months after operation. Range of motion of the affected knee was recovered in all patients. Six month postoperatively,the Lysholm knee score was 95.4±4.5. Conclusion:Arthroscopic treatment of tibial eminence fracture with modified suture fixation technique through single bone tunnel is reliable for fracture reduction,fixation and early mobilization.
