Objective:To construct a simple, safe, high successful rate model of renal acute ischemia-reperfusion injury in Wistar rats. Methods:Renal artery of Wistar rats was bilaterally clamped with a micro-artery clamp for 50 minutes to make the animal model of renal acute ischemia-reperfusion injury. Then these kidneys were removed at the 3rd,5th,7th day after injury. Immunohistochemistry staining was used to show the distribution and expression of Kim-1 antigen, and the changes of cytomorphology were observed by HE staining. Results:The successful rate of model construction reached to 85% in the experiment. The expression of Kim-1 antigen increaced. Meanwhile, changes of cytomorphology took place. Conclusion:Stable model of renal acute ischemia-reperfusion injury of Wistar rats can be constructed by applying micro-artery clamp to incarcerate bilateral renal arteries, and its successful rate is very high.
