Interleukin-32（IL-32）is a novel proinflammatory cytokine，which is widely expressed in normal tissues. The expression level of IL32 is significantly increased in various cancer cells. IL-32 has been revealed to serve a crucial role in human cancer development，including tumor proliferation，migration，invasion and metastasis，which can be used as the biological marker of tumor prognosis. The studies on the molecular mechanisms underlying IL-32 are critical for the therapeutic strategies. This is a review of the current literature on the regulation function and the mechanisms of IL-32 in tumor invasion and immunity.
