Abstract:Objective: To study the relationships between juvenile internet addiction disorder and parental rearing pattern. Methods: Three hundred and eighteen students from junior high school and universities in the city of Jieyang and Shantou were tested by EMBU and LAD-DQ. Results: The students with internet addiction disorder had a quite different parental rearing pattern from that of the students with non internet addiction disonder in intervention, over-punishment and refusal. Conclusion: Juvenile internet addiction disorder were correlated with the poor rearing pattern of parents.
