Abstract:China had a writter history of medical education for five-thowsand-year. Medicine in ancient was known as “Benevolence” with strong cultural presence. But for a long time, Chinese medical education ignored the nature of the medical humanities, resulting in loss of the humanistic spirit of the medical students, who could not grasp the most basic criteria “people-oriented” of the moral practice and of professional activities, which resulted as a increasingly tensional doctor-patient relationship. Therefore, as a doctor training institutions, to enhance the humanities education of medical students was of great significance in building a harmonious relationship between doctors and patients.
