Medical English teaching is an important component of the English teaching in medical colleges and universities, while its current personnel training system drifts away from the social needs and cannot fully satisfy the students’ demand for employment. Based on the survey of the English teaching for medical personnel,the article identified and analyzed the current situation and existing problems,aiming to put forward some feasible reform strategies, promoting the quality of medical English teaching in our university,as well as the English proficiency in practical application of the medical personnel.
