Clinical practice in department of urology is an important component in medical students’ practice. The authors applied PBL teaching method in urology practice teaching of medical students,which still had many problems,and compared the results in the clinical examination and questionnaire between the students taught by PBL and traditional teaching method,and then found that there were significant differences between the two groups. So the article considered that the PBL teaching method was proved to be effective for improving urology practice teaching quality,and might be applied in other surgical department.
