Abstract:【Objection】Screen some effective indicator to foretell the extent of atrial fibrosis in patients with sick sinus syndrome(SSS). 【Method】We had consecutively enrolled 95 patients, age between 40-80 years old, from January 2017 to January 2018, divided into two groups, one group is healthy control, another group is patients who were diagnosed as sick sinus syndrome. All the patients received echo-cardiogram, dynamic electrocardiogram examination, and TGF-β1、NT-proBNP、PINP、PIIINP in the blood of these patients were measured. Besides, the amplitude of P wave in lead II were measured in every patient’s ECG. Then, we compare the difference all the parameters between the two group.【Results】There are no statistical difference about age,sex,level of uric acid, blood glucose and diameter of left and right atrial between two groups , but the amplitude of P wave in electrocardiogram between two groups has statistical significance(0.09±0.01 vs 0.15±0.02,P=0.001) . Our study has found that the level of TGF-β(1153.64±167.75ng/ml vs 84.62±118.80ng/ml,P=0.022),PIIINP(892.96±431.67pg/ml vs 724.24±221.44pg/ml, P=0.017), NT-proBNP(287.40±167.57pg/ml vs 39.72±22.97pg/ml,P=0.001) in patients with sick sinus syndrome obviously higher than those in control group. Besides, after one year follow up , The level of TGF-β(1153.64±167.75 vs 84.62±118.80ng/ml, P=0.022),PIIINP(892.96±431.67vs724.24±221.44pg/ml, P=0.017), NT-proBNP(287.40±167.57 vs 39.72±22.97pg/ml,P=0.001)in the patients with sss were apparently higher than control group. The amplitude of P wave in the II lead of ECG in patients with SSS was more lower than those healthy control(0.09±0.01 vs 0.15±0.02cm,P=0.001).【Conclusion】 The level of TGF-β1, PIIINP,NT-proBNP in serum and the amplitude of P wave in electrocardiography can predict the morbidity and development of sick sinus syndrome.
