The article surveyed the quantity, amount, unit price and growth rate of high-value medical consumables in the past three years, and found that the amounts of the high-value medical consumables were significantly increased in clinical practice, then analyzed the effect of the consumables on the medical costs, suggested that the price for high-value medical consumables should be scientifically set up by the government price department, financial supervision should be strengthened by the administrative department of public health, and the purchase, use and charge should be also established by hospital.
