This article used a convenience sampling method to conduct a questionnaire survey of 810 medical staff in 30 tertiary public hospitals in Anhui Province on their awareness of the content of public health services in hospitals，participation in public health training，and their overall evaluation. The main aim of this article is to understand the current situation of medical staff’s awareness of public health services in public hospitals to improve their awareness of public health，and the level of public health management and services in public hospitals. Based on the analysis of the current situation of medical staff’s perception of public health services in public hospitals, the author proposed that it is vital to clarify the functional positioning of public hospitals and enhance public health awareness among staff. Secondly, scientific planning of public health functions and focusing on constructing a professional team are also crucial. We need to strengthen medical staff’s public health training to improve their public health literacy and service capacity. Lastly, it is essential to refine the performance assessment mechanism of public health services to enhance the motivation of medical staff.
