On the 85th anniversary of Nanjing Medical University， this study reviewed the history of Nanjing Medical University， from which we could see the spirit of running a school， which could enhance the majority of teachers and students sense of mission， sense of responsibility， sense of honor and sense of belonging， filled with energy before starting. Standing at a new historical starting point， Nanjing Medical University is innovating in its inheritance and forging ahead in its innovation， which will surely create a better future.
