Research hotspots，characteristics，and prospects of Xi Jinping

Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era

——A visual analysis based on CSSCI journal bibliometrics since 2017

Abstract：Xi Jinping Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era has been a hot spot
and frontier issue in academic research in recent years. This study adopted the bibliometric software CiteSpace
to visually analyze 1 074 documents included in Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index（CSSCI）source journals
since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The study found that the research hotspots
mainly focus on the generation，meaning，philosophical implication and theoretical arming of the new ideas，
with the characteristics of obvious problem orientation，detailed thematic perspective and in ⁃ depth practical
research. Standing at the starting point of a new journey，it is necessary to expand the scope of the research
further，respond to practical concerns，innovate research methods，and broaden international perspectives to
provide a reference for future research.
