Abstract:The comprehensive evaluation mode of the classified supervision and control of infectious
diseases was an innovative measure to improve the level of supervision and management of infectious disease
prevention and control in medical and health institutions at this stage in China. Since the pilot of this model in
2014,it has not only achieved remarkable results but also exposed the problems in the supervision and
management of infectious diseases in China’s medical and health institutions. On the basis of summarizing the
current situation of the implementation status of the comprehensive evaluation model, this paper analyzed the
current situation and progression of the mode by using the SWOT(strengths weaknesses opportunities threats)
method for strategic management. This study also discussed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and
threats of the internal and external environment faced during the development of the model. It also proposes
development strategies and policy recommendations according to the SWOT analysis matrix to provide a
reference for effectively improving the level of the supervision and management of infectious disease prevention
             and control.
