Abstract:The article employs the coupling coordination degree model and an obstacle degree model to
examine the synergy and constraints between the allocation of health human resources and high ⁃ quality
economic development in the Yangtze River Delta region. Findings indicate that,aside from the impact of the
public health emergency in 2020,the coupling coordination degree in the Yangtze River Delta has generally
shown an increasing trend from 2012 to 2022,yet remains relatively low with regional disparities. The key
constraints to coordinated development are the imbalance between the supply and demand of health human
resources and inadequate capacity for economic innovation and development. In response,it is essential to
emphasize the supportive role of government policies to enhance regional economic benefits. Rationally planning
the distribution of health human resources to promote the process of the integration of health systems in the
Yangtze River Delta is also vital for further development. By enhancing the comprehensive planning and
applying targeted policies towards different regions,we aim to foster coordinated development of both systems.
Key words:health human resource; high quality economic development; coupling and coordination;
